Govt will fulfill development aspirations: Health Minister Giri



KUSHMA, PARBAT: Minister for Health and Population Padam Giri has said the incumbent government would fulfill people’s aspirations for development and prosperity.

Receiving public felicitations at Phalamkhani of Mahasheela Rural Municipality in Parbat district on Saturday, Minister Giri the lone goal of this government is ensure development and prosperity adding that the government was formed in line with the people’s mandate of the November 20 election.

Minister Giri has claimed that there have been positive changes in the country’s economy within a month of formation of this government. The capital expenditure would be expedited and the projects of national pride would advance smoothly, he added.

He also said that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has already directed the ministries’ secretaries and chiefs of line agencies to meet the target of development construction of the projects that are being carried out across the country.

On the occasion, Minister Giri said he is working to identify the key challenges that exist in the country’s health sector and the ways to ensure quality health care services to the rural folks. He has reiterated his commitment to ensure budget for the construction of hospitals in the local levels.

Likewise, Minister Giri vowed to draw attention of the agencies concerned to resume the iron mining that is shut for seven decades.
