Flights resume at TIA

KATHMANDU: The international flights from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), halted due to the problem in the government websites, have resumed now.

As all government websites were down, the tasks like examining the visa and passport online were adversely affected.

The issues with immigration website resulted in the stalling of the flights from the TIA. One could see the long queues of the passengers there.

“Although the site problem prevails, the flights have started after processing passports and visas through the manual method,” said Teknath Sitaula, the TIA spokesperson.

International flights at Tribhuvan International Airport had been suspended from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM due to problems in the entire system.
