Bodies of 10 Nepali and two Korean citizens handed over

KATHMANDU: A total of 12 bodies of the Yeti Airlines plane crash victims have been handed over to their families after a post-mortem here today.

According to Yeti Airlines, 12 of the 49 bodies brought to Tribhuvan Teaching Hospital Maharajganj in Kathmandu were examined and handed over to their respective families and the diplomatic mission in the capital.

Among those handed over today, 10 bodies were of Nepalis and two of Korean citizens.

The bodies of 22 of the 71 people who died in the air crash on Sunday have already been handed over to their relatives in Pokhara.
