Pedestrian killed in an accident in Bhaktapur



BHAKTAPUR: A pedestrian was killed when a scooter hit a pedestrian near Bode Manahara Bridge in Bhaktapur on Saturday.

Santa Bahadur Shrestha, 44, died when a scooter No. 76 Pa 9035 coming from Mupani toward Bode hit him at Bode.

According to the Bhaktapur Police Complex, Shrestha died in the course of treatment in the Norvic Hospital in Thapathali.

Raju Pandey, Information Officer of Bhaktapur Police Complex, said that scooter rider, Palden Lama, 22, resident of Sindhupalchok has been arrested.
