KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Secretary Raghubir Mahaseth held a meeting with Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Monday afternoon.
According to sources, they held a meeting at the Maoist Center chair Prachanda’s residence in Khumaltar for about an hour.
UML, which has been registered as the second-largest party since the single majority government was not formed, has recently intensified discussions with the parties of the ruling coalition.
Despite the Maoist Center’s claim that the current coalition would get continuity, the UML leaders’ frequent initiations for re-opening the power-sharing deal has been regarded as an indication of something cooking behind the scene.
