Nepal Rastra Bank fixes foreign currency exchange rates for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today, setting the buying rate of one US dollar at Rs 154.48 and the selling rate at Rs 155.08.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 173.32 and the selling rate at Rs 173.99. Similarly, the British pound sterling has a buying rate of Rs 204.55 and a selling rate of Rs 205.35, while the Swiss franc is set at Rs 185.92 for buying and Rs 186.64 for selling.

The buying and selling rates of one Australian dollar have been fixed at Rs 107.83 and Rs 108.25, respectively. The Canadian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 108.57 and a selling rate of Rs 108.99, while the Singapore dollar is set at Rs 120.68 for buying and Rs 121.15 for selling.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.76, and the selling rate is Rs 9.80. Similarly, the Chinese yuan has a buying rate of Rs 23.08 and a selling rate of Rs 23.17. The buying and selling rates of one Saudi Arabian riyal have been fixed at Rs 41.15 and Rs 41.31, respectively, while the Qatari riyal is set at Rs 42.42 for buying and Rs 42.58 for selling.

According to NRB, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.61. The UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs 42.06 and a selling rate of Rs 42.23, while the Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 37.82 for buying and Rs 37.96 for selling. The buying and selling rates of 100 South Korean won are Rs 11.52 and Rs 11.56, respectively. Similarly, the Swedish krona has a buying rate of Rs 15.51 and a selling rate of Rs 15.57, while the Danish krone is set at Rs 23.19 for buying and Rs 23.28 for selling.

The central bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.69 and the selling rate at Rs 19.76. The Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of Rs 501.31 and a selling rate of Rs 503.26, while the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is Rs 409.11. The Omani rial has been set at Rs 401.24 for buying and Rs 402.80 for selling.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is also Rs 160, according to the provided figures.

NRB stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. Rates offered by commercial banks may differ from those fixed by the central bank, and updated rates are available on the NRB’s official website.
