Nepal sees seven new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of seven new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

Of the confirmed cases, four were detected through the RT-PCR method and three through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,677 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 454 were tested through RT-PCR method and 1,223 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 175 active cases in the country as 30 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
