NC’s Ale gets victory in Province Assembly from Tanahun



TANAHUN: Nepali Congress’ Jit Prakash Ale won the election to the Province Assembly from Tanahun-2 (2).

As per the vote counts completed this morning, Ale made it through with a margin of 640 votes.

Returning Officer Govinda Upadhyay said that Ale got 13,860 votes while his nearest rival Kedar Sigdel of CPN (UML) secured 13,220 from the total 29,898 votes cast.

Elected NC’s Ale is the party’s Tanahun District Committee President while Sigdel is a member of the outgoing federal parliament.
