NC’s Gagan Thapa emerges victorious from Kathmandu-4

Nepali Congress leader Gagan Thapa has been elected a member of the House of Representatives from Kathmandu Constituency-4. Thapa defeated his closest contender CPN-UML’s Rajan Bhattarai. Thapa garnered 21,393 votes while Bhattarai garnered 13837 votes.

NC’s Pradeep Poudel elected from Kathmandu-5

Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Pradip Poudel has emerged victorious from Kathmandu Constituency-5.

Poudel garnered 15,237 votes whereas his closest contender, CPN-UML’s Ishwor Pokhrel, garnered 10,172 votes.

Pokhrel was elected to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu-5 in the previous election.UML’s Raymajhi elected from Udaypur-2

CPN-UML’s Ambar Bahadur Raymajhi has been elected as member of the House of Representatives from Udaypur Constituency-2. Raymajhi defeated Unified Socialist’s leader Jagannath Khatiwada.

RPP Chair Lingden still leading in Jhapa-3

Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Rajendra Lingden is still leading in vote count in Jhapa Consttuency-5. He is leading Nepali Congress (NC) leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula with a margin of more than 2500 votes. Lingden has received 10,365 votes so far while Sitaula has got 7,864 votes.

CK Raut leading with nearly 10,000 votes

Chairman of Janamat Party, Dr. CK Raut has maintained his lead widening a big difference against Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Chairman Upendra Yadav. He has maintained the difference of nearly 10,000 votes. Janamat’s Raut has got 19,120 votes.
