Govt mobilizes nearly 300 thousand security personnel to ensure safe election



KATHMANDU: The government has mobilized nearly 300 thousand security personnel to ensure safe election.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has urged people to vote confidently in the election as the adequate security arrangements were in place for it.

A total of 115 thousand temporary police has been mobilized for the election where there will be three layers of security in view of the sensitivity of voting centre- Nepal Police in the first layer, Armed Police Force in the second, and Nepali Army in the third layer.

All four bodies of security agency are mobilized with utmost responsibility, the Ministry said.
