Police nab ‘anti-election’ demonstrators in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The police have arrested Mohan Baidya-led CPN –Revolutionary Maoist Party cadres for protesting against the upcoming election on Saturday.

They protested in front of Bahadur Bhavan, where the election office is located, demanding boycott of the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections.

Seven protesters who came to the demonstration were arrested and taken to Metropolitan Police Circle, Durbarmarg.
