Nepal sees 25 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 25 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Friday.

Of the confirmed cases, 22 cases were detected through the RT-PCR method and three through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,845 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the total samples 983 were tested through RT-PCR and 862 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 569 active cases in the country as 28 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
