Itahari Mayor Chaudhary apologizes



KATHMANDU: Mayor of Itahari Sub-metropolitan City Dwarika Lal Chaudhary has apologized for ‘disrespecting women’.

Issuing a statement on Friday, Mayor Chaudhary apologized saying that support from women is must to achieve development and prosperity.

Mayor Chaudhary was dragged into controversy after he used indecent words for women during a recent function.

Earlier, he was criticized for his behavior on journalists.
