Ruling coalition to support Ghanashyam Bhusal to contest from Rupandehi Constituency-1



KATHMANDU: The ruling coalition is likely to support the candidacy of Ghanashyam Bhusal, the leader who quit CPN-UML on Saturday.

Sources said Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda expressed the commitment of supporting Bhusal, who has decided to contest the November 20 elections, from Rupandehi Constituency-1 as in independent candidate.

Bhusal had on Satud=rday said he would not contest the election with the election symbol of the Maoist Center saying it would raise ethical questions.

Leader Bhusal announced that he quit CPN-UML since the party leadership did not give him ticket for the November 20 election.
