Nepal sees 91 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 91 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Of the confirmed cases, 75 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 16 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 3,924 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 2,488 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,436 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 1,740 active cases in the country as 165 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,016 to date.
