Five held for opium possession



RANJHA: Police have arrested five persons on the charge of illegal possession of opium weighing 18.5 kilos from Puraini of Nepalgunj Sub Metropolis-22.

Those arrested are Rajendra Bishwakarma, 25, of Jajarkot; Sharmila Magar, 59, of Rukum East; Bir Bahadur Nepali, 24, of Jajarkot; Prithvi Bahadur Bishwakarma, 50 of Jajarkot; and Ambar Bahadur Darai, 59, of Surkhet.

DSP Prakash Sapkota, spokesperson at District Police Office said that they will be made public through a press meet this evening.
