Rara Lake will make you feel heavenly this season



MUGU: Rara Lake, a tourist destination in Mugu district is likely to attract an increasing number of domestic tourists during Dashain and Tihar festivals.

Situated at an altitude of 2,972 meters from sea level has turned into a hub for a significant number of tourists these days.

The number of tourists coming to this place to enjoy the incredible beauty of the lake has significantly gone up in recent times.

The lake stretched over 10 km in length from Gamgadi, Mugu headquarters, and three kilometers in breadth with 167 meters in depth has been a center of attraction of late.

Locals say that the number of vehicles of tourists visiting Rara this season is high.

The best Nepali month to visit the Lake is Chaitra, Baisakh, Jestha, Bhadra, Asoj and Kartik.
