Nepal makes it to final of Women’s SAFF Championship 2022

KATHMANDU: Nepal has made it to the final with a victory over India in the 6th edition of Women’s SAFF Championship 2022.

In today’s second semi-final match, Nepal defeated the former champion India by 1-0.

Rashmi Kumari Ghising scored the decisive and winning goal for Nepal. She scored in the first half making optimum use of the ball passed by Priti Rai.

Nepal will now be facing Bangladesh in the finals. The final match will be taking place on Monday.

Similarly, Bangladesh has already entered the final round after defeating Bhutan 8-0 in the first semi-final.
