Nepal sees 126 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 119 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Thursday.

Of the confirmed cases, 75 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 51 through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 3,790 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of them, 1,674 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 2,116 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 2,129 active cases in the country as 137 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 12,015 to date.
