One killed in Jumla road accident



JULMA: One person died on the spot when a jeep (Lu.1.Ja. 3734) met with an accident in Kankasundari Rural Municipality-1 in Sinja area of Jumla this morning.

The jeep was heading towards Mugu from Surkhet.

The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Deepak Tiruwa of Rarachhayanath Municipality-2 in Mugu District, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Narendra Chand of District Police Office Jumla.

The jeep driver Dal Bahadur Budha, who was injured in the incident, is being brought to Karnali Institute of Health Sciences in Jumla for treatment.

There were five other passengers in the jeep, who are reportedly unhurt.
