Govt’s attention drawn towards land encroachment by China



KATHMANDU: A group of Nepali youths associated with the Border Protection Struggle Committee on Friday submitted a memorandum at the Office of Topographical Survey and Land Use Management Division, to draw the government’s attention toward encroachment of the norther border by China.

The group of youths led by Sarita Jyoti handed over the memo to Karuna KC, Deputy General Director of the Division, urging the government to be serious about the country’s border protection.

Meanwhile, the youths, who had reached the Office of the Division demanding return of the land encroached by China, accused the staffers of mistreating them.
