KATHMANDU: The weather will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country with chances of light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder at some places of the hilly region and at a few places of the rest of the regions, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said.
The Department also said there is possibility of heavy rain at one or two places of Province no 1 and Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces, warning of a risk of soil erosion, landslide and debris flow in the hilly region and of a rise in the water level in rivers and seasonal streams. It has urged citizens to adopt necessary precaution as the daily life and transport sectors might be affected due to this.
