Three arrested with fake Nepali notes

KAILALI: Police have arrested three persons on Friday night from Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan-1 Hat Bazaar with 30 counterfeit Nepali notes at the rate of Rs. 1000.

Among the arrested are Sumitra Rana, 35, of Dhangadhi-7, Chandra Bohara, 38, of Dhangadhi-8 and Ritu Chaudhary, 27, of the Dhangadhi-14.

On the basis of the information that Sumitra Rana was shopping at the place with counterfeit notes, the police deployed from the Ward Police Office, Dhangadhi, found 30 counterfeit Nepali notes at the rate of Rs. 1000.

Police are investigating further for details.
