Bodies of those killed in Tara plane crash handed over to families

KATHMANDU: The bodies of those who lost their lives in the Tara Air plane crash have been handed over to their families after postmortem at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH).

The government handed over the bodies of 22 people who died in the accident on Sunday.

Tara Air’s plane, which was flying from Pokhara in Kaski to Jomsom in Mustang, had crashed on Sanusare hill in Thasang-2 of Mustang.

Thirteen Nepalese, four Indians and two Germans, including three crew members, were killed in the crash.
