PM Oli leaving for Europe on a week-long visit

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is leaving for Europe on a week-long visit on Saturday. Oli is scheduled to visit Switzerland, Britain, France during this visit, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Oli will return to Nepal on June 16.

He is leaving for Europe at the official Invitation of British Prime Minister Theresa May. May is stepping down as she has already resigned as the leader of the ruling party paving the way for the new leadership.

Oli’s visit is viewed as important as it is taking place after seventeen years with the country Nepal had established diplomatic ties for the first time.
