KARNALI: The Karnali Provincial Public Service Commission Surkhet has conducted an examination for vacant government positions in the province.
This is the first time that such an examination has taken place at the province level after the implementation of the federalism structure in the country.
The Karnali PPSC conducted the examination for the post of women development inspectors under various services.
According to Section 3 of the Provincial Public Service Commission Act, 2075 BS, vacancies were announced for the position of eight employees in the open category and one in the inclusion category.
A total of 2,197 candidates appeared for the examinations, according to Secretary of the commission Bhupendra Thapa.
