Nepali rail inaugurated Saturday arrives Janakpurdham

JANAKPURDHAM: The train inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba and the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi from Hyderabad House in New Delhi showing the green flag has arrived Janakpurdham.

It took two hours for the train to reach Janakpurdham from Jayanagar, India. At each station, the locals greeted with a grand applause with the Nepal-India flag.

The train that left Jayanagar, India at around 1 pm on Saturday reached Janakpurdham at 3 pm. The train is decorated like a new bride.

After reaching Janakpurdham, the students welcomed the train with flags of Nepal and India. Thousands of locals had flocked to the railway station since morning to watch the train.

From now on, trains will run twice a day from Sunday. The Indian company has so far spent Rs 6 billion on the construction of railway structures with financial and technical assistance from the Indian government.
