Nepal taking on PNG in ODI cricket match today



KATHMADU: Nepal is taking on Papua New Guinea (PNG) in the second ODI cricket match today.

The match between Nepal and PNG will start at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur at 9:30 am.

In the two-match ODI series, PNG has taken a lead 1-0. In the first match held on Friday, Nepal lost to PNG  by six runs.

Since Nepal lost yesterday’s match, it is under pressure to win today’s match to defend the series.

PNG is in Nepal  to play ODI and three-nation twenty20 series. The second match is being held today.

PNG came to Nepal after participating in tri-series under the ICC Cricket League 2.

Nepal had defeated PNG in both the matches. In the first match, Nepal defeated PNG by two wickets and in the second match by seven wickets.
