Maoist Center leader Pun flying to China for follow-up checkup today



KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) leader Barshaman Pun ‘Ananta’ is flying to China for a follow-up check-up checkup this morning.

Pun will be accompanied by his wife Onsari Gharti Magar and Dr Roshan Pokharel who was involved in his treatment.

Pun had returned home after receiving treatment for congenital hyperbilirubinemia at Third People’s Hospital in Shenzhen, China on January 24.

Earlier, Pun had been admitted to Samitivej Hospital in Bangkok after the level of his bilirubin went up on September 29, 2021.

When his condition did not improve, he was taken to China for further treatment on November 26 last year.
