Prime Minister Deuba visiting Khotang today



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to visit Khotang today.

He is visiting Khotang to inaugurate a motorable concrete bridge constructed at Sapsu river with the investment of Diprung Chuichumma rural municipality.

Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to inaugurate the motorable bridge constructed at Sapsu river at noon today, said rural municipality chair Bhupendra Rai.

He is scheduled to return to Kathmandu soon after the inauguration.

The concrete bridge located at the border of Mazhuwagadi Municipality-4, Khalle and Diprung Chuichumma Municipality-1, Yamkha was completed at the cost of Rs. 56 million.

The bridge over the Sapsu river will serve to the shortest road connecting the southern region from Diktel Bazaar, the main business center of the district.

After the construction of the bridge, the locals of Diprung Chuichumma, Khotehang, Jantedhunga and Barahpokhari have been able to commute and transport their daily necessities.
