MORANG: Three people have been arrested with brown sugar in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-15.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police deployed from Area Police Office, Rani apprehended 38-year-old Sandeep Khadka of Tripurasundari rural municipality-9, Sindhupalchowk, Himal Nepal, 23, of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-15, Swayambhu and Krishna Bahadur Magar, 34, of Deurali rural municipality-5,
Police seized 1.6 grams of brown sugar along with Rs 100,500 in cash during the security check at 10 pm on Sunday.
All the arrested have been kept in police custody of the Area Police Office, Rani and are under investigation, said police.
