Brigadier General Adhikari promoted to Major General



KATHMANDU: Brigadier General Prem Dhwaj Adhikari has been promoted to the post of Major General.

Nepal Army (NA) appointed Adhikari to the post amidst a ceremony on Friday. Group topper at the Military Academy, Kharipati of his batch, Adhikari is a military official at the 27 Base.

Similarly, the NA has transferred commanders of three major units including the Eastern Command of the Nepal Army, according to a highly placed source.

Promoted Adhikari has been given the responsibility as the Director General of the National Park and Wildlife Conservation Directorate.

Similarly, the Eastern Command Chief Major General Santosh Kumara Dhakal has been transferred to the Nepal Army Command and Staff College while Major General Sahadev Khadka has been transferred to the Easter Command.
