PM Oli to visit Switzerland, UK and France

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli is scheduled to visit Switzerland, United Kingdom, and France from June 8 to 15, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has confirmed today.

PM Oli will leave home for Geneva of Switzerland on June 8 leading a high-powered Nepali delegation, MoFA said where he will address an event to mark the centenary celebrations of the International Labor Organization (ILO) on June 10.

In Geneva, Prime Minister Oli will also hold talks with Swiss Interior Minister Alain Berset.

The Prime Minister then will leave for the United Kingdom (UK) and meet with Prime Minister Theresa May on June 11. According to MoFA, he will also deliver a lecture at Oxford University.

From the UK, PM Oli will leave for France on June 12 where he will hold a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. He is also scheduled to attend an event to mark the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Nepal and France.

PM Oli had visited Davos, Switzerland to attend the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in January 2019.
