Surge in suicide worries NA leadership



KATHMANDU: Nepal Army (NA) Headquarters is worried following a surge in suicide by NA personnel and has started discussion and study to uproot suicides.

The latest study states that lack of opportunity, the progress of coworkers, promotion system, and distance from family members, lack of recreational activities among others are blamed for increasing cases of suicide, Annapurna Post Daily reported.

According to statics, 119 NA personnel have committed suicide since 2048 BS.
