JANAKPURDHAM: Police have arrested two individuals in possession of brown sugar in Saptari district.
The arrested have been identified as 26-year-old Sumit Chaudhari of Triyuga municipality-13, Laxmipur and Bidyananda Chaudhari of Chaudandi municipality-8, informed DSP Madhav Prasad Kafle of DPO Saptari.
They were arrested with 6 grams of brown sugar from the Kanchanpur-Phattepur road section of Saptakoshi municipality-2, Sakhuwani.
Police said they are investigating the issue after filing a case under Narcotic Drugs (Control) Act against them.
