Nepse goes down 2.46 % this week



KATHMANDU:  The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has gone down by 2.46 percent this week.

The bench mark index, which began with 2801.56 points, was settled at 2732.51 points on the final transaction day of the week.

The Nepse lost 69.05 points in a week.

Sensitive index that measures companies classified under ‘A’ category also went down by 8.64 points (1.64 percent) to settle at 518.64 points.

With the market plummeting, the investors lost Rs 89,353,600,000 over the week.

Similarly, sub-indices have also witnessed a fall in their share prices, with the highest fall in share prices in manufacturing and processing sector.
