KATHMANDU: Actress Rekha Thapa has married to Balram Shahi Thakuri of Jajarkot.
The couple, who have known each other for over a year, got married two weeks ago at a court.
Actress Thapa said they got married with the consent of both the families. There is two years age gap between the two. Thapa is 38 years old and her spouse is 40.
Balaram is a tourism entrepreneur living in Israel.
This is Thapa’s second marriage. Earlier, she was married to movie producer Chhabiraj Ojha. She was living with her mother in Mitra Park after divorcing Ojha 10 years ago.
Rekha, who debuted the Nepali silver screen from the movie ‘Hero’, is active in politics of late.
