Pashupati Temple reopens from today



KATHMANDU: The Pashupatinath temple, which was closed for visitors with the third wave of Coronavirus, has reopened from today.

According to the Pashupati Area Development Trust, the temple has been reopened from today as per the decision of the Kathmandu District Administration Office.

The Trust has stated that it has decided to open the temple after receiving complaints from visitors and devotees.

The World Health Organization and the Government of Nepal have stated that devotees will be allowed to enter the temple following the standards of health protocol.

Earlier, the Pashupatinath temple was closed for visitors from January 18 due to the increase in the infection of the Omicron virus.
