President Bhandari express sorrow over demise of Indian singer Mangeshkar



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed sorrow over the demise of veteran Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar. The acclaimed singer died at the age of 92.

President Bhandari, in her condolence message posted on her Twitter account, remembered the contribution of Mangeshkar to Nepali songs and music industry.

“I am saddened by the passing away of veteran singer Mangeshkar, who has sung many Nepali songs. I offer my heartfelt tribute to the late extraordinary talent Mangeshkar.”
