NEW DELHI: India logged 1,49,394 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours on Friday.
The daily positivity rate in the country is 9.27 per cent at present.
There are 14,35,569 active cases in the country at present.
On Thursday, the Union health ministry had stated that, with the exception of Kerala and Mizoram, most states and union territories are now reporting a decline in the Covid positivity rate.
Meanwhile, the education ministry issued revised health and safety protocol for the reopening of schools.
