Limited spectators to be allowed at Nepal-Mauritius friendly matches



KATHMANDU: Audience will be permitted to enter into the ground to watch football matches between Nepal and African country Mauritius.

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) informed that one third audience will be permitted to enter the stadium by strictly following government-released health safety protocol.

Nepal and Mauritius are playing two friendly matches at Tripureswor-based Dasharath Stadium. Team Mauritius has already arrived in Nepal for the friendly matches.

A per the schedule, the first match will take place on January 29 and second on February 1. ANFA has fixed per person Rs 500 for general ticket and Rs 1000 for VIP ticket for entrance to the stadium.

Head coach of Nepali Football Team, Abdullah Almutairi is set to publish a final name list of the players today for friendly tournament against Mauritius. Some 34 players have been in closed training for the same for the last one week.

Four players of Mauritius were diagnosed with coronavirus at PCR test that was undertaken after their arrival in Nepal. The players with COVID positive are in isolation.

COVID vaccination card has been made mandatory foe the audience to enter into the stadium.
The match is to start at 4.45 pm on the stipulated dates.
