Covid impact: Non-essential services closed in Palpa DAO

PALPA: The District Administration Office has suspended other services except for the essential ones.

The non-essential services have been suspended until further notice after coronavirus was detected in the office staffers.

All services have been suspended from Sunday except law and security issues, voter list registration and citizenship certificate distribution, according to Chief District Officer Jagannath Pant.

The decision was taken after COVID-19 infection increased significantly in the district recently.

Provision has been made for the service recipients to show the vaccination card and wear a mask when they come to seek the emergency services.

Meanwhile, the Palpa DAO has issued a 19-point order for the prevention and control of the transmission corona virus in the district.
