Two policemen suspended for stealing mobile gallery

KAILALI: Nepal Police has suspended two policemen for stealing mobiles from a shop in Dhangadhi.

According to DSP Bed Praksah Joshi, Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Kailali, Constable Hom Bahadur Mal and  Bharat Bahadur Budhal have been suspended for their alleged involvement in the mobile stealing from a shop.

Police have registered a case of theft against them and they are remanded for five days more. Spokesperson Joshi informed that the accused were automatically suspended as soon as the term was extended.

The video footage of the CC camera at Global Mobile Gallery, Dhangadhi had recorded both policemen stealing the mobiles.

Policemen duo Mal and Budhal had reached at the mobile gallery following the information that drug dealing was underway at a shop at Traffic Chowk, Dhangadhi.

After the video footage became public, the District Police Office, Kailali, had kept both Mal and Budhal in custody and proceeded with the investigation.
