Govt allocates Rs 15.1 billion for Kathmandu-Nijgad fast-track



KATHMANDU: Government has allocated Rs 15.1 billion for Kathmandu-Nijgad fast-track while 4.82 billion for Madan Bhandari highway. Unveiling the budget 2019, finance minister Yubaraj Khatiwada has said that 1000 MW will be connected to the transmission line.

Similarly,the government has allocated Rs 83.49 billion in the hydropower sector. Likewise, the government has allocated Rs 1.81 billion for Ring Road Expansion Project.  He said that the expansion work will be completed within coming one year.
