42-yr-old woman held with 10 kg cannabis



BIRGUNJ: Police in Parsa have arrested a woman with 10 kilograms of cannabis from Birgunj Metropolitan City-16, in Parsa district.

A team of security personnel on Wednesday rounded up a 42-year-old Ranju Devi of Pipariya Parowa municipality-9, Rautahat and seized the narcotic drugs from her possession during a security check.

According to District Police Office, Parsa, Ranju was heading on foot to Raxaul, India with the illegal drugs from Nepal.

Police said they have forwarded a case against Ranju on the charge of Narcotic Drugs Control Act, 2033 BS.
