UML’s province convention deferred

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML’s province-level convention has been deferred.

Deputy Chief of the UML’s Publicity Department Bishnu Rijal shared that the province convention scheduled for January 22 has been deferred to February 11 and 12 due to increasing risk of coronavirus infection.

So far UML has conducted conventions in 61 districts and is yet to undertake the conventions in 16 districts.

The UML party said the convention has been postponed considering the government’s urge to not organize gathering of more than 25 people in view of rising threat of the COVID-19 pandemic.
