DANG: A person was killed when a motorcycle — Ra 2 Pa 1840 — heading towards Ghorahi from Tulsipur collided with a jeep –LuAPa 1256 — and a tipper truck –Na 7 Kha 5312– near Ghorahi-11 Bukalidanda.
The deceased has been identified as Padam Basnet, 53, who was riding the motorcycle, said spokesperson of the District Police Office, Dang Mukunda Rijal.
Basnet died while undergoing treatment at Rapti Institute of Health Sciences. Two others were injured in the incident.
The drivers of the jeep and the tipper truck have been taken under control and further investigation is underway, police said.
