Chankee Chhetry elected president of Nepal Insurers’ Association

KATHMANDU: Chankee Chhetry has been elected as the president of Nepal Insurers’ Association.

A general assembly of Nepal Insurers’ Association held on Friday elected a new working committee under Chhetry’s leadership.

Nepal Insurers’ Association is the umbrella organization of association of the chief executive officers (CEOs) of non-life insurance companies in the country.

Chhetry, who is the CEO of Sagarmatha Insurance Company, served as the general secretary of the association earlier.

Likewise, CEO of Siddhartha Insurance Birendra Baidwar Chhetri has been elected as vice president while CEO of NECO Insurance Company Ashok Kumar Khadka the general secretary of Nepal Insurers’ Association.
