DANG: Police have arrested four people with tiger hide in Dang.
The arrested have been identified as Shankar Giri of Ghorahi sub-metropolis-13, his wife Jharna Thapa, Gir Bahadur Bishwakarma of Lamahi Municipality-1 and Asha Kumar Chaudhary of Lamahi Municipality-2.
Police Inspector Rajan Poudel of Ward Police Office, Lamahi, said they arrested four persons with tiger skin from Tikuligarh, Lamahi Municipality-3, based on confidential information provided to the police. He added that the four were arrested as they were trying to trade the tiger skin.
Police are preparing to hand over the arrested along with the recovered tiger skin to Division Forest Office, Deukhuri, Dang.
