Nepal sees 235 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley sees 154 cases in 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 235 new cases of coronavirus while 212 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 224 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 11 from the antigen method.

Likewise, there are 114 cases in Kathmandu, 8 in Bhaktapur and 32 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the valley to 154 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there were four coronavirus-related death in the past 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 11,594 in the country.

There are 4,879 active cases of coronavirus in Nepal as of Monday.
